On September 7th, 2023 The Lakeview Roscoe Village Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with SSA 27 and Friends of Lakeview, unveils the 2023 Master Plan, a transformative roadmap aimed at fostering a more vibrant and resilient neighborhood, which will unfold over the next 7-10 years. This visionary initiative is a result of the collective efforts and dedication of the Lakeview and Roscoe Village communities. Rooted in collaboration and community engagement, this Master Plan builds upon the foundation laid by a previous plan, developed 12 years ago, to guide the growth and development of these unique Chicago neighborhoods.

Farmers Market Season is officially back! The Low-Line Market is on Tuesdays at the Southport Brown Line, hosted by Friends of Lakeview, is a conveniently located and carefully curated farmers market, with the goal of creating an experience where neighbors can meet and gather while having greater access to a collection of high-quality produce, proteins, flowers and artisanal foods from local farms and vendors.

The Spirit of Lakeview Candle Debut
Introducing The Spirit of Lakeview Candle! Friends of Lakeview has partnered with AURA Candle Bar to create a custom fragrance that embodies The Spirit of Lakeview: Bright, Proud, Resilient. AURA Candle Bar will donate 25% of sales from every The Spirit of Lakeview candle sold in its studio to Friends of Lakeview. Candles are $38. Volunteer At Burger Fest!
Fire up the grills for the Midwest’s best Patty Party! At least a handful of Chicago eateries will be partners in the tasty annual happening when Roscoe Village Burger Fest returns for its 17th mouth-watering year this July 19-21.
